Configuring User Preferences

Eventably preferences help tailor event listings, match recommendations, and display dates/times correctly.

Setting Your Language

1. Go to Preferences.

2. Select your preferred language from the list.

Language defaults to your browser’s detected language, but you may select another if needed.

Setting Your Timezone

1. Open Preferences.

2. Choose the correct timezone (e.g., America/New_York).

3. Your event times will automatically adjust to this selection.

Choosing Your Date & Time Format

You can select:

• MM/DD/YYYY (US)

• DD/MM/YYYY

• Other formats

Event Radius & Unit

Radius helps Eventably filter nearby events.

1. Set the radius number (e.g., 30).

2. Choose whether that radius is in miles or kilometers.

Interest Categories

Choose from more than 60 categories, including:

• Business & Professional

• Comedy Shows

• Career Fairs

• Workshops

• Arts & Culture

These evolve over time, so revisit this section occasionally to keep recommendations relevant.
