Navigating the Eventably Dashboard

The Eventably dashboard is the central workspace for organizers, attendees, and team members. From here, you can navigate to organizations, events, reports, teams, and settings, depending on your permissions and stage within the product.

This guide walks through how to access different areas of the dashboard and what to click to perform common operations.

Accessing the Dashboard

  1. Sign in using your Eventably email and password.

  2. After logging in, you will be directed to your Profile automatically on your first login.

  3. To begin organizing, click the Create an Event button in the main navigation menu at the top of the screen.

Understanding the Dashboard Layout

Once you have created or joined an organization, the dashboard displays:

  1. Left navigation menu

  2. Top navigation bar

  3. Main content area

  4. Contextual tools (reports, publish, preview, switcher, etc.)

Each section serves a distinct purpose.

Navigating Between Organizations

Eventably allows you to create or belong to multiple organizations.

To switch between them:

  1. Locate the organization switcher at the top of the screen (usually next to the event name or dashboard breadcrumb).

  2. Click the switcher dropdown.

  3. Select a different organization from the list.

This instantly changes the navigation context, including:

  1. Teams

  2. Events

  3. Reports

  4. Settings

  5. Permissions

You do not need to log out or change accounts.

Accessing Organization-Level Tools

From the dashboard, click:

  1. Organizations (if visible)

    OR

  2. Stay on the dashboard after first creating your event — this is your organization dashboard

Inside the organization dashboard, you can:

  1. Add team members

  2. Configure organization-wide settings

  3. View sales and order summaries

  4. Access Stripe connection

  5. See upcoming and past event performance

To open organization settings:

  1. Click Settings in the left navigation menu.

  2. All configurable settings for your organization appear on the right side.

Viewing and Managing Events

To work with events assigned to your organization:

  1. Click Events in the left navigation menu.

  2. A grid of all events appears, sorted by:
    1. Upcoming
    2. Past
    3. Draft
    4. Today

Each event card displays:

  1. Name

  2. Start/end dates

  3. Earnings (if tickets sold)

  4. Status (published, draft, etc.)

Changing How Events Are Displayed

In the event listing view, you can switch between:

  1. Card View (default)

  2. List View

  3. Calendar View

Click the view icons beneath the Create Event button to toggle between formats.

Accessing Event-Level Tools

Click any event card to open its event dashboard.

Inside the event dashboard, the left navigation menu updates to show:

  1. Info

  2. Settings

  3. Schedule

  4. Venues

  5. Presenters

  6. Tickets

  7. Activities

  8. Custom Fields

  9. Reports

  10. Sales

  11. Orders

  12. Check-in

  13. Waiting List

  14. Publish / Preview

Each section represents a specific configuration or operational function.

Previewing and Publishing Events

Inside an event dashboard:

  1. Click Preview to see what your public event page currently looks like before publishing.

  2. Once the event has:

    1. Info completed

    2. Tickets configured

    3. Stripe connected

    4. Required settings filled in

     

    …you will see a Publish button become active.

Click Publish to make your event publicly accessible and enable ticket sales.

If something is missing, a notification will tell you what needs to be completed.

Accessing Reports

At either the organization or event level:

Click Reports from the left navigation.

  1. You can view:
    • Total sales

    • Transactions

    • Trends

    • Attendee counts

    • Waiting list volume

  1. Use the filters to select:
    • Date ranges

    • Time periods

    • Past vs current data

Summary

The dashboard enables you to:

  • Switch organizations

  • Access and manage events

  • Configure settings

  • Work with tickets, schedules, and presenters

  • Track financial and operational performance

  • Preview or publish events

Once understood, it becomes your central control center for every part of the event lifecycle.
